Coffee, Wine, & Fun in Amsterdam ☕️🎨🍷✨
9/21: I finally got to visit Jack’s birth place ❤️ no wonder we both feel such a strong connection to this city. There’s a word in Dutch that is untranslatable in any other language. “Gezellig” (he-sell-ick) — a “cozyness” and deep sense of belonging to another person or place.
Meaning a sort of togetherness, Gezellig is more of a feeling than a word. Its a huge part of Dutch culture, and after my short stay in Amsterdam, I definitely got a touch of its magic. More Gezellig please! ✨
