Most of these places are on Whiskey Row or walking distance from there. You almost can't go wrong with any place you go down there, but these places stood out as either excellent atmosphere, above average service, or exceptional quality... or all of the above!

#1 Founding Fathers

A classy, self-serve brewery complete with whiskey lounge, barber and more. Trust me. you've gotta go here! Get your wristband and go pour whatever you want and however much or little in every glass. Lots of great beers on tap including wine and selzters. The whiskey lounge is so comfortable and it's the perfect place to sip some high quality whiskey. Eagle Rare!

#2 The Palace

Opened in 1877, it's the oldest saloon in Arizona. We only went here for coffee and Baileys but the restaurant looked great. The service was top notch and the place had so much history on the walls.

#3 Jersey Lilly Saloon

Grab a beer and some free popcorn at the bar and head out to the balcony that overlooks Whiskey Row and Courthouse Square. It's the perfect place to people watch and take in the downtown action of Prescott.

#4 Matt's Saloon

We had so much fun just looking at all the old pictures and history on the walls. It's just a classic saloon with great cold beer on tap served with a smile. Just a great vibe overall at this place.

#5 Back Alley Wine Bar

It's almost like a speakeasy hidden and tucked away in the alley behind Whiskey Row. Excellent staff and great options of many wines to choose from. Quiet and relaxing environment.

Slightly pricey, but excellent food and great service with a smile. We stopped in for our anniversary and our waitress set out two roses on our table. Very classy place.

#7 Bill's Pizza

Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time! Not too thin, not too thick and just a sligh crisp to the crust. Oh man, this pizza was so good!

#8 Soul Ride Bike Shop & Taproom

You read that right. A bike shop with a taproom! They have some cool shirts and swag too. Some good beers on tap and a relaxing outdoor taproom/ beer garden. The dude that was working was really friendly and let me know about some of the best places to ride MTB around the Prescott area.
