Cambria Beach Lodge

Located right across the street from Moonstone Beach on California’s Central Coast, this adorable boutique hotel is the perfect place for a coastal weekend getaway. All of the rooms have a beach-inspired design to create the perfect vacation vibe for your stay. Cambria is one of the last “untouched” California coast beach towns, a place for whale watching, wine tasting, sunset watching, and relaxing to the sound of the waves. This is co-founder West Askew's favorite spot to stay in Cambria!

Garrapata State Park

This lesser known state park is located just a short distance south of Carmel-by-the-Sea and offers Big Sur type views without the drive. Drive through it and take in the views, or get out and do a hike down to the coast. This is one of program manager Michaela Rabinov's favorite stops along HWY 1.

Here are my very favorite places to visit, restaurants to eat at and things to do, only the best, on the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands (Spain). At the beginning of 2021 I spent almost two months living here, dividing my time in between Puerto de la Cruz (in the North) and Èl Médano (in the South). Pro tip: you can get by via public transportation, but your life will be much easier if you rent a car - also, fuel and renting isn’t too expensive here, especially for lengthier stays. ————————— If you enjoy this list, please consider leaving a 👛 tip!
