What people say

"This is CDMX's most visited museum for a reason... it is INCREDIBLE. This huge museum holds the world's largest collection of ancient Mexican artifacts. Each exhibit includes an indoor and outdoor sections. Guided tours are available free of charge Tuesday-Saturday at 10am and 12pm but signage throughout the museum is written in Spanish and English so a tour is not required. If you are a history or anthropology buff, we would recommend allotting a full day or two half days to explore the museum as there is so much to look at and read. Hours: 9am - 6pm, Tuesday to Sunday Cost: 90 MXN "
"This is hands down one of the best museums I have ever visited (and I have a degree in anthropology). We spent 7 hours here and still didn't finish the entire museum, so plan accordingly! Pro tip: the food is seriously overrated at the museum, so bring something if you don't want to overspend. "
"Museo de Antropología, Mexico City's premier museum, showcases an extensive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts. Explore its vast exhibits to gain insight into Mexico's rich indigenous history and culture."
