"While it's a bit farther from the Old Town, trust me, the extra effort is totally worth it. To get there, you can hop on bus number 4 or 6 from the bus stop near Pile Gate. Tickets are just €1.99, and you can buy them from the driver.
If you have some time and are feeling adventurous, ditch the bus and walk! It takes about 45 minutes, but honestly, it's the best way to get a feel for the city. You'll see all sorts of things and soak in the real Dubrovnik atmosphere. Plus, it's a lovely stroll along the coast."
