"The magnificent Gairaut waterfall in Nice, as beautiful and realistic as it is, is... artificial! Just like its sister on Castle Hill!
The waterfall is located on Gairaut hill, on the heights of Nice. The view is breathtaking and offers a magnificent panorama of the Bay of Angels, the surrounding hills and the airport, not far from Phoenix Park.
The Gairaut waterfall flows into different basins built on terraces. The base is built on false rocks which constitute the large waterfall.
The installation is topped by an Austrian-style wooden Alpine chalet. The house, now closed to the public, was formerly inhabited by the guardian of the waterfall.
You can walk in the waterfall, under the waterfalls. It is possible to cross a cave, made of fake rocks and fake stalactites! The work is really pushed down to the smallest detail as everything seems real and authentic. A real cinema set larger than life making the place impressive!"
