"Besides holding a series of exhibitions, events and shows the DDP is a great place to explore at day or night for some photos or explorations. Dongdaemun Design Plaza, or DDP for short, hosts five different museums (plus numerous art galleries and several other things) on its grounds. The museums are centered on design and other contemporary and modern art. Their exhibitions change every so often, with artists from all over the world having their works on display. The area itself also features impressive architecture and outdoor displays in its gardens. A great place for a stroll, even if you’re not that interested in the museums in Seoul."
"Dongdaemun Design Plaza, often called DDP & designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid, is a striking architectural landmark that showcases innovative design and fashion culture. With its futuristic design, the plaza serves as a hub for fashion shows, exhibitions, and cultural events, attracting creatives and design enthusiasts from around the world. Every now and then you can see stunning lightshows illuminating the unique surface of the building. Please note, that the "I SEOUL U" Sign is gone due to the change of the city slogan to "My Soul Seoul" in 2023."
