"This majestic fort was built between 1581 and 1583, during the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Its purpose was to protect the passage of the River Indus.
After India was partitioned in 1947, it became the headquarters of the 7th division of the Pakistani Army and it's still in control of the army until this day.
It's good to know that this fort cannot be visited, but it's pretty impressive from the outside."
