"Sleep in a bit and head downstairs for a delicious (and free…best part) continental breakfast (at the Homewood Suites). Then after checking out of the hotel, head to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre for some easy hiking. As long as there is not a concert that night, you’ll be able to check out the actual amphitheater. If there is a concert, they sometimes close it early (at 2 pm) for sound checks and whatnot. If this is the case, you can still check out the on-site trails. There is a large free parking lot (when there aren’t events)."
"Attend a concert or special event here. When not in use, this space is common for people to use as a natural workout space. You will always see people running the stairs or using the steps to workout. There is a music museum that we highly recommend checking out. Additionally there are multiple hiking trails that intertwine the venue space and surrounding area. "

"If you want to escape the city right away, head to Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. The best way to experience Red Rocks is by going to a concert there, where the unique geology creates an incredible acoustic experience. Check out the concert schedule before your trip to see if any upcoming performances pique your interest. www.redrocksonline.com"
