Ready to experience an Italy beyond what you've seen on a screen? Having lived in Italy for over 12 years, I love sharing the special moments that make each distinct Italian region stand out. The best part of traveling to Italy is discovering a whole new world in each region you visit. 🍷Located in Piedmont, I specialize in Northern Italy travel, with a focus on wine travel. Whether you're interested in wine tasting in the famous Langhe region, exploring Tuscany's rolling hills, discovering the excellent Rosati of Puglia, or savoring wines from anywhere in between - I'm here to make your trip unforgettable. 🤓In addition to learning about Italy's incredible wines, you can expect fun and nerdy facts from my guides, as I am a graduate in archaeology and art history. 🏔️Since I could never limit myself to one niche, I'm also a huge fan of the outdoors, climbing, and hiking. I love sharing the best of the Italian Alps with you, whether you're a beginner seeking a breath of fresh mounta

Cofounder @ Thatch 📍Washington, DC My favorite way to get under the skin of a place is to eat! I always seek out new dishes and ingredients that are local to the place I'm visiting. My ideal day in a new city involves wandering the streets of a new neighborhood to get a feel for its energy, ducking into an art gallery or museum to see something inspiring, and then stopping for an afternoon coffee and chocolate chip cookie. At night, you'll more likely find me in a cocktail bar than a club. I also love to hike, camp, and be near the ocean! I lived for 8 years in San Francisco, and spent extended time in Lima, Peru and Mombasa, Kenya. Even though I've moved back to my hometown of Washington, DC, I still stay up to date on the SF food scene and travel back often for work! I'm pretty tapped into the DC food and coffee scene. Conversational in Spanish. Have some rusty Swahili.

Hey! My name is Tom, a Roman obsessed with his city. I was born in Rome and grew up here till the age of 12, before moving to the UK and living there for almost 10 years. I am half Italian (from my mum's side) and half English (dad's side). I still spent a lot of time in Rome and Italy, visiting all my friends and family multiple times a year. I've previously worked as a chef for almost 8 years, including 4 of these in a Michelin recognised Italian restaurant. A few years ago I decided to move back home, as I felt it was the right place for me and where I wanted to be long-term. I now work as a freelance translator. Ever since I came back, I immersed myself in Rome's culinary delights to expand my already significant food & beverage repertoire. In addition, I discovered a new passion for Rome's immense and mesmerising art, including churches, museums, viewpoints and much more. On my page you'll find Rome recommendations of all types, helping you experience my beautiful city to its ful

Alecia Caine - Sweet Life Italy

I discovered my passion for Italy as a young woman traveling thru the country where my grandmother grew up. I fell in love with the language, the food, the people and all things Italian. I guess you could say Italy is my soul mate. For my 50th birthday, after having raised two sons as a single mother, I bought myself an apartment in a medieval village in Southern Italy. My life changed and I created Sweet Life Italy, a boutique niche tour company to share my love of the Italian way of life, especially in the South, with its amazing scenery, down to earth food and the friendliest people on earth. I created Sweet Life Italy to inspire women to savor pleasure and rediscover their passions, awaken their senses and follow their dreams. I offer you the experience of discovering Italy through your senses, indulging in the tastes and textures that surround you..
