Margherita Cara
Milano, MI, Italia
Ciao! 😊 my name is Margherita, I'm a 27yo psychologist & solo traveler from Milan, Italy. In January 2023 I hopped on a one-way flight to Havana, backpack on my shoulders and lots of fear in my heart, and 20 months later I'm still out here - and not ready to quit yet! Things I love: slow traveling, connecting to people and places, eating good veggie food, people watching, collecting stories, water sports, black cats (all cats really) 😊 Things I don't love: ticking places off a "must visit" list for the sake of it, not engaging with local communities, believing negative stereotypes about certain countries. And spiders I also dislike 😔 Get in touch if you'd like to get my tips & tricks on traveling Latin America, South East Asia and Europe on a budget, from a solo girlie traveler perspective 🥰

Lauren Caramico
Palermo, PA, Italy
An Italian-American from Brooklyn, former NY ad exec turned expat, I left everything I had behind to start a new life here in Italy. And now I am finally doing something meaningful and that I love - connecting those visiting Italy to the most authentic people, places and passionate local experts, making sure their experience is as authentic as it is unique and unforgettable. I created my unique travel service so people can discover Italy for REAL (hence the name I chose "davvero" (which loosely translates to "really" or "for real" in Italian) Davvero Italy is slow travel & sustainable tourism redefined, promoting respectful and responsible travel that is low impact. Where you're not only supporting Italian local businesses but in some cases helping the actual towns in which they live in - and every interaction is a positive one where meaningful connections are made for a lifetime. Experience Italy not only through the eyes of a local but actually with locals. This is the only way t

Alecia Caine - Sweet Life Italy
Guardia Sanframondi, Province of Benevento, Italy
I discovered my passion for Italy as a young woman traveling thru the country where my grandmother grew up. I fell in love with the language, the food, the people and all things Italian. I guess you could say Italy is my soul mate. For my 50th birthday, after having raised two sons as a single mother, I bought myself an apartment in a medieval village in Southern Italy. My life changed and I created Sweet Life Italy, a boutique niche tour company to share my love of the Italian way of life, especially in the South, with its amazing scenery, down to earth food and the friendliest people on earth. I created Sweet Life Italy to inspire women to savor pleasure and rediscover their passions, awaken their senses and follow their dreams. I offer you the experience of discovering Italy through your senses, indulging in the tastes and textures that surround you.. Take time for time and attune to the local rhythm and energy of Italy while savoring the food, wines, music, art and beauty o

Katie And Joe On The Go
Denver, CO, USA
Hi! We are Katie and Joe! We quit the corporate life in 2022 after a decade of global advertising and photography experience to travel the world. We converted a 2022 Ford Transit Van to be our mobile home on wheels. Since we completed Clifford (he's big and red), we've been to Colorado, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Utah, Oregon, Washington, up the Alaskan Highway, and into Alaska. We are on a quest to see all 63 US National Parks, so far we've seen 41 in 2023 and more to come. We were both raised in Colorado but have spent the past 10 years bouncing around New York City, NY, Berlin, Germany, Detroit, Michigan. While those are fantastic places filled with wonderful memories, we are happy to be closer to our families in Colorado. We've been traveling together for almost 15 years (yikes!) and have seen 30+ countries together. From Japan to Portugal and almost anywhere between, we've seen a lot! But we know there is so much more to see.
