It actually wasn't that bad. From working my first job as a cashier as a teenager and saving everything to pay for a trip to India at 15, I have now travelled 16 countries, predominantly solo but also on group tours and with friends. When asked where my favourite place in the world I have to say the airplane and airports. I love the sense of unknown and the challenges that go with a different place.
