"The Tuileries Garden is a public park separating the Louvre Museum from Place de la Concorde in central Paris. It was commissioned in the mid-16th century by Catherine de Medici as a garden for the Palais des Tuileries. At the eastern end, you’ll find the Jardin du Carrousel. The Carrousel is decorated by sculptures and the monumental Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel. West of this section is the Grand Carré, a garden with decorative ponds and antiquity-themed statues. Further inwards, it is the Grand Couvert. Closer to Place de la Concorde, at the western end of the Tuileries are the octagonal basin, four works by artists Auguste Rodin, and the Musée de l’Orangerie. "As you know, this park is on the main axis of Paris, connecting the Arc and the museum. But that day it is not connecting and I recognised it after walking all the park at the longest direction. They closed the Arc end of th park and also the side doors as the tour route passes from there. Tour is cycling around this park several times, so entering this park was one of the best things I did that day. I spent half an hour there, took many photos and experienced the atmosphere while sipping from my cider🥂"
