"The best towns on this lake are St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang, where you can wonder through the picturesque streets and stop in one of the many cosy traditional cafes. If you don't have time for both, I suggest visiting St. Wolfgang which is slightly bigger and offers amazing views of the lake from the imposing church. During the Christmas season, traditional Christmas market can be found in both locations. My favourite cafés for a sweet treat are Kaffeewerkstatt in St. Wolfgang and Liva in St. Gilgen. "
