"Cammillo is a woman-led restaurant that was founded by a Bolognese man with an eye for business in 1945, back when most of the "Oltrarno" ["across the Arno river"] neighborhood was still an impoverished and half-destroyed part of Florence. Cammillo helped bring people across the bridge thanks to their delicious foods and now, decades later, it's one of Florence's best restaurants, with perfectly ironed white tablecloths, and elegant and kind waiters that have been there for decades.
