What people say

"Brač Island, the largest island in Croatia’s Central Dalmatian Archipelago, is renowned for its stunning landscapes, rich history, and vibrant local culture. Situated just a short ferry ride from Split, Brač boasts a diverse range of attractions, from its iconic white-pebble beach at Zlatni Rat, often considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic, to its charming coastal towns like Supetar and Bol. The island is also famous for its historic sites, including the ancient town of Skrip and the impressive Romanesque-Gothic Church of St. John the Baptist. Brač's mountainous interior, dominated by the highest peak in the Adriatic, Vidova Gora, offers excellent hiking and panoramic views of the surrounding islands and coastline. With its combination of natural beauty, historical significance, and welcoming local culture, Brač is a must-visit destination for those exploring the Dalmatian coast."
"We took a Catamaran day trip to Brac Island and the Golden Horn. The tour was really nice we got to see it from above and also got to go hang out on the beach itself for a while. The boat had drinks and snacks and was a fun ride. At the time we went there were a lot of younger people partying hard! They looked like they were having a great time, but just worth noting if you're trying to do this tour with a family or kids. We were able to keep to ourselves and still had a very enjoyable experience! I have linked the Viator link for boat tours as there are SO MANY choices for boat activities from Split. You can't go wrong getting out on the water in this area and enjoying everything. "

"I have not yet been, but I've been told by my Croatian friends that Brac is a beautiful island where you can do just about everything. From water sports, to outdoor activities, lounging on the beach and more. It would be worth a day trip from Split, or even worth staying there a little longer if you can. "
