"Despite its small size, Cetara is a fishing village packed with charm and character. Among its main attractions are the Saracen Tower, which offers amazing views of the coastline, and the 10th century Church of Saint Peter.
Explore the historic town center, featuring a picturesque harbor, narrow streets lined with colorful houses, and several ancient churches. Then spend some time on the beach, a popular spot for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports.
Not-to-be-missed is the local cuisine, with the village being renowned for its delicious seafood dishes, including the traditional anchovy sauce known as colatura di alici. "

"I had the luxury of spending the day at Hotel Cetus sat by the private beach (open to the public if you book) enjoying the gorgeous mediterranean sea. I visited midweek so it was not so busy which made for a relaxing experience. The beach bar also has a little shop and fresh food served most of the day. So if you're looking for a more quiet beach day, this is definitely the place to go.
Getting to this small hotel can be tricky so I would recommend you get a taxi to and from Salerno as the busses can run on their own time and there is no clear stop. "

"Charming fishing village known for its excellent seafood. Cetara is a quieter town often passed over by tourists on their way to more iconic spots along the coast. Relax on the beaches against the backdrop of the colorful architecture, take a stroll down the main cobblestone road, and eat your fill of fresh seafood.
