What people say

"Mestni trg or Town Square is one of the oldest and most important squares in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is located in the heart of the old town, right below Ljubljana Castle. Mestni trg has been a center of public life in Ljubljana for centuries. It was originally a market square, and it was also used for public gatherings, such as festivals, proclamations, and executions. The square was also the site of the city's first town hall, which was built in the 14th century. Today, Mestni trg is a popular tourist destination. It is home to a number of important buildings, including the Ljubljana Town Hall, the Robba Fountain, and the Old Town Hall. The square is also lined with cafes and restaurants, making it a great place to people-watch and soak up the atmosphere of Ljubljana."
"Town Square (Mestni trg) is a busy square in Ljubljana's Old Town. It's surrounded by Town Hall, colorful Baroque buildings, restaurants, and shops. A reproduction of the Robba Fountain stands in the center of it. Expect to see the green Urban electric train passing through as you're walking around this area."
