In this guide I will try to share the best places and unmissable spots I was able to see in my short stay in Madrid.

A 3 day-Weekend in Madrid

Puerta de Alcalá

On the opposite end of the Paseo del Prado, east of the Plaza de Cibeles, you can find the famous Puerta de Alcala, a beautiful gate that sits in the middle of the Plaza de la Independencia. The gate is another one of Madrid's most iconic sights right at the north-west corner of El Retiro. 

An iconic monument that represents the historical greatness of Madrid. In addition, its imposing architecture and its emblematic location make it a reference point for visitors and a lasting symbol of the city.
