Visit for their wonderful selection of antipasti, including some of the best salads 🥗 I've ever had in Italy (which is usually lacking in the salad department), and fried beef meatballs, and make sure you order one of their pasta dishes (which are quite abundant, so go prepared) such as carbonara, amatriciana, or vegetarian-friendly "cacio e pepe" with pecorino romano sheep's milk cheese and freshly-cracked black pepper. Follow up with delicate and juicy grilled lamb (abbacchio a scottadito), and end your meal on a sweet note with one of their homemade cakes. "

"This is a traditional Roman restaurant, but eating here is also somewhat of a history lesson. The menu always has interesting vegetable dishes that vary continuously based on the season, I am always surprised by the many things I have never tried/heard of. Apart from the classics, they also have many offal dishes (most were invented in this neighbourhood, so you need to try them!) and dishes that have been slowly disappearing from most menus like ‘Minestra di Broccoli e Arzilla’: a soup fo broccoli, pasta, and a type of fish local to the coast near Rome"
