What people say

"The site of a pre-Columbian Mayan walled city which served as a major port for Coba, in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. The ruins are situated on 12-meter-tall (39 ft) cliffs along the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea. Tulum was one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Maya and achieved its greatest prominence between the 13th and 15th centuries. Maya continued to occupy Tulum for about 70 years after the Spanish began occupying Mexico, but the city was abandoned by the end of the 16th century. Tulum is one of the best-preserved coastal Maya sites, and today a popular site for tourists. To get the most out of visiting this site and bring it to life I really suggest you get a guide. "
"Ruinen von Tulum. Interessante Geschichte. Kolumbus hat darüber geschrieben, sie aber nie betreten da sie vom Meer aus sichtbar sind, vom Landweg aus aber so versteckt dass niemand sie gefunden hat. Ruins of Tulum. Interesting story. Columbus wrote about them, but never set foot on them because they are visible from the sea, but so hidden from land that no one has found them."

"The Tulum Ruins are a must-see archaeological site perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. This ancient Mayan city is known for its well-preserved structures, including the Temple of the Frescoes and the iconic El Castillo. Insider tip: Visit early in the morning to avoid crowds and enjoy the site in cooler temperatures."
