"If you're looking for a day trip:
An hour drive from town, Stonehenge is one of the world's most iconic archaeological sites and one of its greatest enigmas. There is so much history here, the myth is that these stones were constructed to communicate with other worlds. Unfortunately, you can only touch the stones on the equinox and solstice, but you can absolutely still feel the magic from afar. Because it draws so many people, I recommend going on a weekday morning. You can buy tickets online or at the door and the process is easy! You will take a short bus over to the stones from the parking lot. "

With their allure and mystery, the gigantic stones of Stonehenge is one of Britain's most extraordinary historic sites and a must-see for anyone.

"This is located just outside of London but any respectable Londoner has made the trek. This ancient sight is worth a visit!
Stonehenge is only free on the solstice and that’s also the only day you can walk next to the stones. If you’re committed to see Stonehenge up close and personal than this would be the way to do it! "
