What people say

"As I walked down Rome's famous Via Veneto, I couldn't wait to check into the Ambasciatori Palace Hotel. The property is housed in an early 20th-century building and is just a 10-minute walk from the stunning Trevi Fountain. Plus, with free Wi-Fi, I knew I could stay connected during my trip. As I stepped into my elegant and air-conditioned room, I couldn't help but admire the precious fabrics and either carpeted or parquet floors. It was clear that no detail was overlooked in the luxurious design. For dinner, I made my way to La Terrazza Restaurant, which overlooks Via Veneto. The restaurant serves Italian specialties and international cuisine, and I had the option to enjoy my meal al fresco or in the refined dining room, which featured fine works of art on the walls. The on-site American Bar also offered a great selection of drinks. The next morning, I indulged in the buffet breakfast that was included in my stay. I enjoyed homemade cakes, pastries, and Italian coffee - all of which were delicious! Thanks to the hotel's convenient location, I was able to easily explore Rome's top attractions using the nearby Barberini-Fontana di Trevi Metro, which offered direct links to the Vatican Museums, Spanish Steps, and Termini Station. The beautiful Villa Borghese park was also just a 5-minute walk away."
"This hotel opened in May of 2023 so is quite new and the rooftop bar, "Charlie's Rooftop" which has a 1920's Harlem club feel, is one of the only enclosed alfresco venues in the city which makes it a great option when you want to have an outside experience with views even when it's cold out. "

⭐️ Experience the real heart and soul of Rome through your glass. Grab this guide for recommendations on some of the best places to grab a well-deserved vacation drink, from aperitivo hour to local wine bars to classy cocktails. Wine and cocktails are flowing in Rome from the early aperitivo hour (looking at you at 10:30 AM Aperol spritz) through to the early morning hours of the next day. As you stroll the streets of the eternal city, have some time to kill before your next museum reservation, or are looking for an after-dinner drinking scene, the places in this guide are all uniquely different from one another so there is something for every traveler, circumstance, or mood. Each place on the list was carefully selected based on their offerings when it comes to drinks and atmosphere. They are also conveniently located in the more centrally located parts of the city, some just a few minutes walk from the next if you want to stop by more than one, which I fully endorse. From classic enoteche, to rooftop bars with city views, to dark and moody spaces perfect for an intimate moment shared over a glass of natural wine, there is something for every drink lover on this hit list.
