"Tinsmiths Square, also known as Place des Ferblantiers or Ksadria in Arabic, is a scenic square located in the heart of the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter of Marrakech, Morocco .
As the name suggests, the square was historically known for its concentration of tinsmiths, artisans who work with tin and other metals. While the number of tinsmith workshops has dwindled, a few still remain, allowing visitors to witness their traditional metalworking techniques firsthand.
The square is lined with shops selling a variety of handcrafted goods, including lamps, lanterns, ashtrays, and other decorative items made from metal, wood, and leather. It's a great place to find unique souvenirs or gifts with a Moroccan touch.
In contrast to the bustling atmosphere of the Marrakech medina, Tinsmiths Square offers a peaceful haven. Palm trees line the square, providing shade and creating a serene environment. Relax on a bench and soak in the ambiance of the square."

"Beautiful souk in the Jewish district of Marrakesh - Mellah. It's quieter than the others & specialises on spices. "
