Romania doesn't have an early morning culture. Most restaurants serving breakfast don't even open until 10 or 11am.
So let's skip breakfast and do BRUNCH.

Discover the fascinating architecture of Rotterdam with this detailed 26-site guide!
The heavy bombing of Rotterdam during World War 2 made way for revisioning of the face of the city. The result is a collection of buildings and transportation routes that make the city a large scale, ever-developing, open air museum.
Walk through the city to find each of these sites, or shorten the distance by biking or using public transit.

If you've dreamed of strolling through a real life fairy tale castle, it's time to plan your trip to Peleș Castle!
Peleș was once the summer residence for Romania's monarchs. The 160 rooms each feature a unique theme, often styled in the traditions of a particular nation, from Switzerland to India. In addition to an impressive collection of fine art, the castle also boasts an armory of more than 4,500 weaponry, accumulated by King Carol I.
Which is most impressive: the luxurious interiors, the exterior architecture, or the natural surroundings of the castle? You'll have to decide for yourself on your visit to Peleș Castle!

Located in the mid-west of the country, Sibiu is in Transylvania with a view of the magnificent Southern Carpathian Mountains. The town has a strong Germanic influence and a romantic Old Europe charm.
It is tourist friendly. You'll hear a blend of Romanian, German, Hungarian, and English being spoken around the city. Great for a day trip as you explore Romania, a long weekend visit, or stay a few days more!

While you can go any time of year, my favorite time to visit the area is October. The Southern Appalachian Mountains are positively vibrant with autumn colors!

There are countless types of travel experiences to Israel, including everything from beach vacations on the banks of the Mediterranean Sea to archeological digs. My experience there was a 2-week study intensive focused on "beholding" where stories from the Bible happened, enriched by cultural, historical, and geographical context.
Below are 20 of the sites that were most memorable for me.
At the bottom, I've given links to the tour group I went with. These are not affiliate links - I get no compensation for recommending them. I simply had a wonderful experience and would like you to have an opportunity to do the same!

Spend the day with the kids* in historic Chester, England! I've made a list of family friendly (and educational!) things to do and see. These activities are walkable, or you can get a ticket to the hop-on-hop-off bus to skip the leg work.
Many of these activities are budget-friendly or free.
*I should note that I did most of these things traveling alone as a single 30-something woman and had a fabulous time. You don't have to have kids with you to participate.
