γ€°Β  Fraser Canyon 🌲

Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park
@thelocalroad
It's a great spot to take a break and have a quick snack. The path to the waterfall is short, mostly a dirt/gravel trail with some steps. Well maintained.

Hell's Gate Airtram
@thelocalroad
This is one of those spot that you think might be really cheesy and not worth stopping at, but if you want to break up your drive from A to B, I would highly recommend. It was such a different way to see the canyon and learn more about the history of the area.

It's simply the cutest little spot. The iced latte was perfect.

Murray Creek Falls

The trail itself may not be the most thrilling, but it's still enjoyable to take a quick walk up to the base of the waterfall.

Blondies Cafe
@thelocalroad
A personal favourite of mine. I always make a point to stop here, to the point where I plan my drive around it. Smoothie bowls are *chefs kiss* and the coffee 10/10.

Canyon Hot Springs Resort
@thelocalroad
I feel like this place has a good mix of vintage charm while still being a really cool experience. I once stopped here before driving through the park and it's one of the best memories.

Bear Creek Falls Trail
@thelocalroad
I drove by here countless times until one day I finally stopped. The short trail is an easy walk down because it's all downhill, so heading back up to the parking lot is pretty steep, but it's definitely worth it!

Hey, I'm Kendell πŸ‘‹πŸ» A rocky mountain ski town local, I'm a huge lover of the outdoors (swimming in a glacial lake or drinking a coffee on a patio while people watching - I'm here for the full spectrum). Nothing brings me more joy than scouting out local shops with the best vibes, other than sharing my finds with others. Planning a trip to the Kooteny-Rockies? I know exactly which spots you should check out!
