The second biggest collection of Van Gogh with most of the most famous paintings are here in the Kröller-Müller Museum. You need a separate park and museum ticket. The museum is included in the Museumkaart, the park is NOT.

One of the oldest and most balanced theme parks out there. Having started out with the fairy tale forest, a park like no other.

This city, mostly a student city, has often been used as an example for how a walkable and cycle centric city can be.

Disputing the title of oldest city of the Netherlands with Nijmegen, this city simply cannot ever disappoint. With old city walls, a lot of old buildings with amazing history and a very charming city center, also close to several borders and with its own local language, it is to this day the place where I have felt most at home.

In the middle of the Netherlands it has everything the country is famous for, especially the huge amount of bikes. The experience starts at and should absolutely include the massive train station and the bordering shopping center that used to be included in the same building but is now disjoint. Get around by bike for a true experience of Dutch life.

The place of Dutch Government and many international organizations, The Hague has a surprising charm with an amazing walkable city center and many surprises worth visiting. Don't forget to take the tram to the beach in Scheveningen, whose name has been used as a Shibboleth in war time.
