Originally, Aslin started in Virginia, and this is where I found them fell in love with their beer. Recently, they opened a Pittsburgh taproom in the strip and it is amazing! They have an amazing selection of beer and some seltzers, ranging from creative takes on classic styles to some truly experimental beers. Try as much as you can, you won’t regret it.

This does not technically belong on this list, as it is not a bar and you can’t order drinks. However, it deserves an honorable mention. Pennsylvania Libations is a liquor store that exclusively sells spirits made in PA. They carefully curate their stock, it changes nearly every time I’m in there, and they’ve even started partnering with certain distilleries around the state for special releases only available at Pennsylvania Libations. I’ll make a point to go to this store every time I’m in town. In addition to browsing their amazing selection, you can sample nearly everything in the store! If you need a unique gift to bring back for someone or you just need some cocktails for your hotel room, this is your spot.
