Detailed program for a trip in Vilnius, Lithuania  for 3 nights and 3 days

You can start by dropping off your belongings at the hotel and picking up the room card.  If you arrive in the evening, you can choose a restaurant for dinner, here is a suggestion:

Then you can walk back to the hotel and discover the city at night and if you are there during the winter, you can stop by the Christmas ice rink before returning.  And depending on how tired you are, finish the journey by bus, again using Google maps.

7:00 a.m. I advise you to wake up to take the time to get ready and have the hotel's buffet breakfast.

8:30 a.m. You can leave walking or with the bus for the first visit of the day:

10:30 a.m.  You can then go to the meeting point for the next activity, which should be booked in advance. Check the meeting point address and time when you make your reservation. I chose the "Old Town" tour which was great and very informative.

After the visit, you can have a drink and eat a pastry in the museum:

‌When you leave you can, if you wish, leave with a small souvenir from the museum.

‌You can then go home and rest for the next day

 Once the visit of the museum is over you can go to an IKI, buy something to have a picnic and then head for the next activity

Once back, you can go to dinner in a restaurant, for my part, I had chosen this one which really did not disappoint me!

A little advice: don't forget to pack your bag or suitcase so you don't have to do it the next morning!

9:30 a.m. I advise you to wake up, get ready and then return the card to the hotel and leave to enjoy your last day

10:30-11a.m. It’s brunch time, there is a perfect little café right next to the hotel:

For the afternoon, there are plenty of options available to you, follow your instincts!

Maybe go get souvenirs, go back to a place you had spotted but didn't have time to take a closer look, for me, it started with a souvenir tattoo, I found a salon where I was very well received  :

Then once finished I went to get a postcard to send it to relatives and I ended up having a little snack in a superb café:

When it's time to go to the airport to leave, there are buses or Bolts that will take you to your destination!

Some places to see if you haven't had the chance:

‌You can take the bus from the airport to the Hotel (1 or 3G) for 1 euro per person by buying the ticket directly in the bus with cash. The stop is right in front of the airport exit, to have the exact time of the bus, you can put the arrival address on Google maps and you will have the route, the stop where to get off and the rest of the route walking.

‌You can then continue to explore the city walking, Vilnius is a city with surprises around every corner.  During the Christmas period there are many decorations but even outside this period you will be able to see many works of street art, you just have to open your eyes, it's like an open-air museum!

Around 4 p.m. you can go to the next stop:

‌It will then be lunch time, you can choose to eat in one of the restaurants suggested by the free walking tour guide, follow your instincts etc., for our part, we have chosen the same restaurant as the day before but at another address with some menu differences

After this long day, you can go to the hotel to rest before dinner.

‌For dinner, several restaurants are located near the hotel, we chose this one:

‌8:30 a.m. I advise you to wake up and take the time to get ready and have breakfast at the hotel again then leave for the first activity of the day:

‌Once at the bus station, take a bus towards Trakai, they run about every half hour, usually platform 6 and 7, you have the timetables displayed next to the platform number.

‌Once you arrive, you can walk towards the castle, on the way you can come across very beautiful places to take pictures and the closer you get to the castle, the more beautiful the landscapes will be to see.  On the way, you can warm up thanks to the hot drink dispensers you will come across.

‌In the evening, you can return to Vilnius by bus or train, you can check the departure time of the bus at the bus station or the train directly on the internet on the website:

‌Then you can return on walking or by bus to the hotel to rest until the next day.
