Day One - Late Afternoon/Early Evening
There are several options of where to stay in Napa and the valley is filled with quaint Bed and Breakfasts, Air BnBs, and hotels - and they all have great reviews. This hotel recommendation has a restaurant on site, a small grocery shop, as well as a spa and golf course. The Silverado Golf and Spa Resort has all the amenities to make your weekend getaway luxurious.
Once you check in and get settled, meet up with your party at Forno at Silverado for dinner and then head over to the Mansion Lounge for a beverage before turning in for the night and getting a good night's rest for a day of wine-tasting tomorrow!
Day Two and Three
Wine Tasting Day! To start the day off right, head over to the resort's, Cafe at Silverado to grab a bite to eat for breakfast. At the cafe is a variety of pastries, breakfast burritos, and breakfast sandwiches. While you are here, grab a couple of bottles of water and some snacks for the day. To ensure that everyone can have a relaxing day, hire a driver for the day. Depending on how many are in your party, this can be anywhere from $500 to $1000 for the whole day. A recommendation for a company to hire a driver is Apex Transportation. The driver was knowledgeable, kind, and prompt.
The following is a list of highly recommended wineries. I suggest three or four wineries a day. Be sure to make reservations!
Lunch Spots for Days 2 & 3
At some point, you'll need to eat lunch! Napa is known for its small eateries along the wine trail. Below are two recommendations. Each of these places are not much to look at from the side of the road, but rest assured that the food is amazing and something you'll think about for days after!
Dinner Spots for Days 2 & 3
A fun place...
Before you leave...
Get a massage or pedicure at the Spa at Silverado. It is the perfect ending to a wonderful weekend. If the spa does not sound appealing, opt for a round of golf!
