Johannesburg is a real cool and artsy place, There are places that are very much city-like and it feels rushed and fast-paced, but there are these really cool hidden pockets of calm where the hustle kinda fades away and you find yourself forgetting you're in the city.

Johannesburg is very Artistic & Creative. From the graffiti street art, to uniquely designed shops and spaces, there's a great vibe in Joburg. The people are diverse and interesting, you'll meet people from all walks of life.

Bean There Coffee Company - Milpark JHB

This coffee shop has such a great vibe to it. It's chilled and even though it got busy for a bit while we were there, we really felt calm and peaceful. This is a great place to have a quick date, or have grab some coffee on your own and even a cool place to work in, if you need a change of scenery. The prices were quite reasonable and the service was friendly. It did take a while before we got our order but with it being artisanal, it wasn't too bad. The coffee served here is fair trade and they also stock a range of coffee beans and coffee accessories like coffee pots and coffee machines that you can purchase.

This cafe is really pretty and very popular. Even though it was busy, the service was very good and quite quick and there is a variety of food options to choose from.

This intimate cafe with good menu. This is a great place to meet up with some family and have a brunch.

If luxury had a cute side, this woud be it. This cafe is exclusively pink, but don’t judge a book by it’s cover. It has an extensive menu with beautifully served meals and drinks. The desserts vary from cakes, to tarts, to giant macarons. The service was great and the experience was exciting.
