Living in Italy over 15 years I have collected a shopping list across the country, this is a living list & will continue to be updated! Random Tip: An often missed gem for shopping in Italy is the hardware store! The smaller the town, the bigger the selection- from everything wine making to various sizes of the classic moka (stovetop coffee pot) to massive cow bells and even gorgeous wool sweaters (especially in the alps)!

Stamperia Pascucci is where we have had our custom handmade aprons made for over 15 years for our cooking school & I can’t recommend them enough!

They make stamps carved out of pear wood and either use antique dyes (like rustic & vinegar) or hand paint designs on handmade linen aprons (that hold up to being washed & naturally repel stains) towels, napkins & the most amazing tablecloths!

It’s worth a visit to their shop but if you can’t make it they have a limited online shop as well.

Have you ever heard of ‘Cashmere Road’?! It exists in Umbria and here I share 10 shops to visit:

$20.00
Cashmere Roadtrip | 10 Shops to Visit in Umbria, ITALY
The coveted "Cashmere Road" in Umbria is dotted with amazing shops (and many times this is the factory where the sweaters, etc. are being made as well) between Torgiano & Solomeo, here are a few of my favorites where you can find great deals. If you want to spend big bucks head straight to the crown jewel, Brunello Cucinelli in Solomeo! However I recommend visiting them last - the village itself Brunello Cucinelli restored and is worth a stroll about, to see the different parts of the cashmere making process (it's like a living museum) not to mention the views are spectacular. Remember this is Italy, many places close for a lunch break so be sure to plan your route accordingly. We had breakfast in Torgiano and hit the road with IMA Cashmere as our first stop and finished at Brunello Cucinelli just before lunch (with a total of 5 stops), but it all depends on how long you stay at each shop for how many you can fit in. Happy cashmere shopping!! In this guide, you'll receive: * 10 cashmere shops * Price range from budget to luxury shopping * Personal tips and suggestions * An interactive map to follow with georgraphical locations & contact details of each location * Access to any future updates to this board!
