Aida Café-Konditorei

Aida is a really cute cafe in the centre of Innsbruck. This cafe felt like being in a barbie cafe and the waitresses were extremely friendly and helpful. The cafe is more than a century old and has a really intresting history which you can read from the menu. The prices in this cafe were suprisingly cheap. A big cappuccino was 3 euros and the coffees were really tastefull. Also the pies and cakes were really affordable. We got a typical austrian cake for only 2,50 euros.

Café Bar Restaurant Maria von Burgund

Amazing café! We went here to get lunch and play some card games. Although we expected Innsbruck to be quite expansive, this café was definitely budget proof. We both had an Aperol Spritz for only 10 euros (for 2), which is relatively cheap for Austrian prices. We ordered a mini dish since we were not hungry at all. Even though it was called “mini” and only 6 euros for each, we were suprised by the size of it. This place is worth your money and the staff is really friendly. Definitely recommend since not only the food is good, also the view is incredible. Beautiful street were you can spot all the medieval houses.

The main thing we did in Innsbruck was just walking around, which I personally really enjoyed (and really recommend since EVERY street has beauty in it). It is not only extremely budget proof but by doing this you see the hidden gems. Innsbruck has A LOT of churches and historic buildings. It is really intresting to see all the historic building painted by bright pastel colors-> which for me made the city give me a cheerful atmosphere.

Eventually we stumbled on this beautiful curch which had these amazing paintings. It was really intresting to see these kind of paintings in such an old curch.

An other thing I found fascinating was the variety of statues this city has.

An other thing I personally really liked about Innsbruck was the amount of street atrists. This made the place feel alive. I liked the live music which was playing almost at every terrace.
