Sants
This area is close to the Sants Estació train station which connects directly to the airport via train and the Barcelona Metro which are the most cost-effective options for getting to the city. It's mostly residential and not as touristy as other options, so the prices tend to be a bit lower. It's my personal favorite area to stay in because it's very much local-oriented and not very touristy, so I feel like I'm actually *in* Barcelona.

This is my personal favorite hotel. It's literally right on top of the train station, the floor-to-ceiling windows give you privileged views of the city (and if you're facing north, of the Sagrada Família!), and the beds are insanely comfortable. The shower is amazing, and the service is top-notch.

One of the most cost-effective options I've found in the entire city. The rooms have recently been renovated, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the overall design of the hotel aside from the rooms is very sleek and modern. It's the hotel I've stayed in the most due to its convenience and price point.
