Ultimate guide to Cozumel
Mexico. This island is my home away from
home, and I am so happy to share my favorite haunts. Who knows, I may just see you there!
"Quieres desayunar?" You won't have to spend much time in Cozumel before you realize that breakfast is a big deal! When making friend a new friend in Cozumel it is just as common for them to ask you breakfast as it would be to go out for a dink.
This is one of the most charming breakfast spots on the island. The cafe is recently renovated and the interior is airy and charming. I always head straight to the garden though. The coffee is impeccable made, and all of the food is esquisite.
This all day cafe is one of the best hangouts in Cozumel. It is great for working, hanging out and playing games on a rainy day, or enjoying the incredible views from the rooftop
Many locals say that this is the best food on the Island, and I am inclined to agree with them! Make sure to ask to sit on the back patio. The food and the ambiance make for a special treat
I used to go here at least once a week for the veggie burrito. If you are looking for something quick and delicious downtown, this is your spot! The food is great and the staff is wonderful.
Vegan restaurant that everyone will love. All of the dishes are lovingly made by the couple who own the restaurant. Quick tip though- all of that prep takes time, probably not the best place to try if you are in a rush

Sunset!
It might sound crazy to add an entire section just for this but, trust me, the sunsets in cozumel deserve it!
Everything you need for a full day at the beach. Reserved cabanas offer shade and a perfect place to relax when you are not swimming in the emerald water. The owner and staff are fantastic and will make you feel right at home. Reservations are strongly recommended !
A favorite among locals. Pro tip- make sure you arrive before 10 am to grab a good spot. Chairs become scarce later in the day as the cruise ship passengers begin the arrive.

Stay
Being on one of the most beautiful island in mexico means that I have friends and family stay often. I have check out so many hotels so I can give them great ideas on where to stay. Here are some of my absolute favorites!
I would stay here just stay here in order to be able to watch the sunset from the rooftop pool! Boutique hotel in the center of downtown. Great value for the money. It was just renovated last year and the rooms are super cosy.
This hotel has the best vibes! The rooms are spacious and clean and I love the courtyard pool area. Plus the adjoining boutique has some of the cutest women's clothes in Cozumel. The location can't be beat either
