And when I say hot, I really mean it. Some scientists consider the Campi Flegrei to be a supervolcano whose eruptions can have worldwide effects. I consider it to be a great place to visit for those who are looking for important archaeological sites, coastal lakes, beaches, thermal springs, and nature reserves.
