The Centurion Lounge
@terraincognita
LAX, Mar2023. I was surprised to find this basement level lounge to be tiny, cramped, and noisy - think Starbucks. I'm at a conference table for 8, on a cheap chair, for the next 3 hours. But the food is good and it was easy to get a drink, no line. Lounge is also easy to find, on the left, right after Precheck security.

Admirals Club
@terraincognita
Chicago, Feb2023. Decent - huge lounge, good food, but not super quiet on a Tuesday evening. Too many kids and dogs. Enjoy a few hours but save room for dinner on the plane. Pro Tip: turn left out of the elevator to score a seat at the windows overlooking the tarmac. Pro Tip: there are two buffets and bars in this lounge. The set on the left of the entrance are larger. This is also where the guacamole bar is. Pro Tip: grab a sandwich (& guacamole & chips) from Rick Bayless' Frontera Grill just outside. The Admirals Club's handmade Guac (in photo) just doesn't compare.
