Breakfast/Cafes

eat
Anchor Cafe
A cute, healthy cafe with good coffee and smoothies. Their food is organic and locally sourced, plus they have vegan options. You can’t miss their chia seed parfaits!

eat
ORGANI-K Sayulita
Amazing smoothie bowls with tons of options to choose from! Also really loved their coffee which comes with non-diary milk options too. Definitely on the higher end for pricing though!
Details

cafe
YAH-YAH Sayulita Café
A can’t miss spot in Sayulita! This locally owned cafe is more of a bakery with freshly baked pastries, coffee, & sandwich options. Good atmosphere both inside and outside. I think they are actually building a second one!

eat
Alquimista
This was “our spot” in Sayulita - aka the place we went multiple times a day whether it was to grab coffee or a quick lunch. They’re coffe was cheaper than a lot of places & had non-diary milk options too (I loved getting their coconut milk iced lattes!)
Details

eat
Pákeke Sayulita
A cute pancake shop with plenty of other options to choose from if pancakes aren’t your thing! From French toast to egg sandwiches, this place has high quality food and drinks.
Details
Lunch & Dinner

eat
La Rustica Sayulita
Hands down my favorite food spot in Sayulita. We ate here multiple times for both lunches and dinner. They have a wide variety of options to choose from but you have to try their pizzas! For lunch, I loved their healthy bowls & it was the perfect atmosphere to get work done back behind the coffee bar (yes they have an attached cafe too!) If you go for dinner, make sure to sit upstairs!
Details

eat
El Itacate
The best taco spot in Sayulita IMO. Not only do they have good prices but there is also almost always a line here (usually very short!) because the tacos are that good. The waiters are efficient, food comes quickly, & they have good drinks too! All of the tacos come with a tray of salsas and sauces too!
Details

eat
Achara
A higher end Thai restaurant that you will probably need a reservation for! Food and environment were incredible but you will have to wait if you want to get into this spot!
Details

drink
El TiburĂłn Sayulita
My favorite bar in Sayulita for sure! This is a spot we kept coming back to. It’s a little bit hard to find down an alley (not in a sketchy way at all though) so it’s almost like a hidden gem because not too many people find it! The atmosphere here is incredible and their cocktails were amazing. Their burgers here were also great if you’re staying for dinner.
Details

eat
Ki’i no Ramen
This place hit the spot with their ramen! We called and ordered take out which was super easy to do here.
Details

eat
L'Ulivo Ristorante
A fancier Italian restaurant down a quiet street next to the beach. Catch sunset over the water and then grab homemade pasta here - it was SO good! Definitely in the higher end for price for Sayulita standards.
Details

eat
Kahlo Cocina Artesanal Mexicana
An easy lunch or dinner spot with a nice atmosphere. The fajitas here were 🙌🙌 and kept me coming back for more!
Details
Drinks/Bars

drink
Hula Sayula
Don’t miss this rooftop bar! Such a fun environment and they often have live music. They had really fun and creative cocktails plus you can order from La Rústicas dinner menu if you’re hungry.
Details

drink
Sayulita Wine Shop
A cute and quiet wine shop with outdoor seating under string lights. This place was a nice spot to grab a glass of local wine and chat. Not rowdy or loud at all!

A chic bar with fun craft cocktails with a chill ambiance and even some board games. I loved the decor and vibe of this spot!
