Best Sandwiches for a Picnic in Central Park NY
My favorite spot in NYC is Central Park, and there's nothing better than grabbing an excellent sando (and other fare) and enjoying a picnic. Skip the hot dog carts and grab something from one of these spots. Set up on The Great Lawn or Sheep Meadow and enjoy!

Whichever side you enter the park from, there's a spot to grab a sandwich. My overall favorite? All'antico Viniao and their "The Broadway," the combo of the pistacio cream and stracciatella cheese is so good!

‌Definitely an omnivore spot, and home of the BEST sandwich I've had in a long while. Huge, fluffy foccacia on a loaf as big as your head. Go for the LA Broadway or the LA Caprese. Amazing sandwich. I dare you to eat the whole thing. A great option for take out for a picnic in Central Park.

Maybe you're a grilled cheese type of picnic person. I don't judge. Why not! Everyone loves a good grilled cheese (although it's a bit of a walk to the park, so it might get cold, but it's still good cold, right?).
