Things to know about Miami

1. You can easily find an uber to anywhere in town.

2. There is a free trolley with an app that will take you to most of the places of interest.

3. Miami is a bit pricey but does have terrific food or drinks and felt worth it.

4. Ocean Drive is touristy- try to venture out of the main drag to find good food and shops that are more affordable and delicious.

We stayed at the Avalon Hotel on Ocean Drive!

Although Ocean Drive is a bit touristy it was a great base to get to other areas of town with an uber or trolley ride being 15-20 minutes away and walking distance from the beach and downtown area.

Now we are big walkers to you may want to uber to downtown but we found it to be a nice walk!

And Ocean Drive is such a fun area to stay. The hotel also supplies beach towels and these adorable foldable beach chairs we took when we were beaching! And the beach is just gorgeous!

Also on the weekend there is a farmer's market that is just across the street which is so fun!
