Why not start at the #1 bar in the world for an "all-in" cocktail bar experience? It will be pricey - and will also feel magical and special.

The Connaught Bar
@gabrielagogo
If I am going to go for a bar experience, I’ll go to The Connaught bar. It’s not somewhere I go every night – it’s fairly high-end but it is very, very good. It’s a treat to go there to taste a few really well-made cocktails with magical service.

And/or, you can hit up one of London's most classically famous bars. Duke's Bar, the home of 007's "shaken, not stirred" martini, is an experience to be had. Yes, the cocktail is pricey (think $30+) but the experience of having your martini made, whether at the bar or via the rolling cart, via a bartender who's been working there for decades is worth it. Celebrity sitings are not uncommon here.

This is one experience not to be missed. It'll feel indulgent in all the right ways.

Another memorable drink (and certainly qutie classically touristy) is one at the top of the (in)famous London Shard. Skip the London Eye and do this instead. Combines well with a visit to the nearby The Borough Market and Padella restaurant.

For a wine bar experience, don't miss the Noble Rot, a darling of industry professionals.

Noble Rot Lamb's Conduit
@gabrielagogo
A place that reliably impresses industry types is Noble Rot, a wine bar with the former head chef of Michelin-starred pub The Sportsman, and where the wine list is exceptionally well put together and moderately priced by London standards. --- Noble Rot Wine Bar & Restaurant, our first restaurant, is situated in a townhouse on WC1's beloved Lamb's Conduit Street dating to 1701. Formerly a bootmaker, a surgery and an electrical shop at different times, it was first converted into a wine bar by a descendent of Admiral Nelson in 1974. Noble Rot's executive chef Stephen Harris (The Sportsman) oversees an à la carte menu of fine 'Franglais' cooking in the restaurant, and small dishes in the bar. Like its Soho sibling it has a celebrated wine list.

If the weather cooperates, check out this roofop bar. We're not ones to favor chains, but The Standard London has stunningly unique views.

The Rooftop at The Standard, London
@gabrielagogo
Hotels are often great drink spots in London. The Standard Hotel has a rooftop bar and the views are pretty amazing. The cocktail list is really cool, too.
