Corsica 🌊✨
Have you heard of Corsica? The island where Napoleon grew up? The island of France that used to be owned by Italy? If you haven't heard of it, I can assure you, you'll want to know it! This island is known for being STUNNING! From the top of its mountains to the bottom of its turquoise blue waters! Below you'll find some FREE guides and paid itineraries on how to spend your time on this island! I personally have only visited the South of Corsica, so all of these guides are based around that region! Also, at the end of this guide, you can find some logistical FAQs about Southern Corsica! Need some more information for your visit to Corsica?

Major Airports:

-Figari-Sud Corse Airport

-Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte Airport

-Propriano Airport

How to get around the island:

-CAR RENTAL! I do not see it being possible to move around Corsica without having a car. I spent 10 days on the island and did not come across much public transportation.

-For my most recent road trips we have been using rentalcars.com and have been loving it - we have found the best deals on here! (This is an affiliate link)

-There are busses if need be to get from major towns however to access beaches and all of the rest of the natural beauty of the island, you will need a car!

-A really popular way to visit the island is by camping! There are camping sites everywhere so visiting by camping car is another option!

Getting to other cities in France:

-Flying to Corsica is pretty straightforward from most major cities in France.

-Another popular way is to take your car onto the ferry that departs from the South of France. There are major ports in Nice or Marseille!

Want help planning your trip to Corsica?

I consider France to be my area of expertise. I've lived here for 2 years and have traveled around many times to many regions! I would love to help you with your trip planning - let's make the most out of your trip!

How can we make your trip EVEN BETTER?

Curated recs are great if:

you know where you want to go, but don’t have the time or energy to research where to eat, what to do, or where to stay!

Custom itinerary is great if:

you know where you want to go but cannot commit the time to planning and researching the logistical details. You can choose whether you want an in-depth itinerary or a trip outline!

Consultation calls are great if:

you want to chat face-to-face with someone who has lived in Europe for 4 years and can give you advice, tips, or even feedback on your itinerary. We can talk about everything and anything you need help with!
