Orlando is one of my favorite destinations and when I'm there I also like to do/visit free things and mostly enjoy the beautiful nature that the Orlando area has to offer.

Big Tree Park is a nice park, the boardwalk is well maintained and you will see a tree that is almost 2000 years old which is quite exciting.

Dinky Dock Park is a nice park to walk around the lake, have a picnic, rent a kayak. You have to be very careful because of alligators in the water.

The West Orange Trail runs 22 miles from Winter Garden to Apopka, west of Orlando. You can go hiking here or just rent a bike. You don't have to go all the way, this trail offers many options that you can adjust to your needs.

In Hontton Island State Park you can enjoy nature and history in peaceful solitude. The island is only accessible by private boat or ferry from the park.

This park features hiking trails, a boardwalk, tall pine trees, a greenhouse, a butterfly garden, and a pond that is home to turtles, fish, and wading birds.

Mostly a children's park. The park features a very large splash park with two areas, a smaller children's area with computerized water jets coming out of the concrete, and an area for big kids with water cannons and sprinkler tunnels and more. Large screened bimini canopies cover picnic tables inside the park.
