What people say

"Parque Lage is a historical and landscape heritage with an amazing view of the Corcovado. A place to walk around surrounded by nature and peace, you can find stalactites and stalagmites caves. Inside is the Palacete which is a restaurant, you can eat something there and buy a souvenir. If you are on a budget or don't want to eat anything but go in, you can book a visit for free! (with a day in advance) I'll leave the link here. Oh! Also here start a trekking to go up to the Corcovado, It takes around 2:30-3 Hours according to your pace and has some difficulties. "

" A 20-minute Uber from Christ the Redeemer, you will find this hidden gem, Parque Lage. It is a Gorgeous public botanical park with an old palace. It's a fantastic place to relax in the gardens and check out this historic building with a view of the Christ the Redeemer statue in the background. There's a cafe inside called Plage Café that's worth checking out. "
